Getting Here

Kingston Estate is located just outside Staverton village, near Totnes. All guests are invited to stay on site at the venue for the weekend (more details below).

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS: DIRECTIONS

Please DO NOT use ‘Kingston Estate’ on your Sat Nav as it may try to take you down a bridleway which is not accessible by vehicles.

Please use the postcode TQ9 6AS, this will take you to a small hamlet just outside Staverton village.

Drive straight through the hamlet and on the next sharp bend you will see 2 grey stone pillars on your left next to a white cottage on the corner.

Drive through the pillars and that will bring you down our driveway.

GETTING HERE:

There is easy access from the A38 Devon Expressway from Exeter and beyond. There is parking on site at the venue if you are coming by car (NB: we do recommend having a car between your group if you want to do some exploring of the area either side of the wedding, due to things being spread out and public transport minimal!).

The nearest train station is Totnes or Newton Abbot and there are local taxi companies we can recommend if you don't have a car (Uber hasn't quite reached Devon yet).

The property is close to Dartmoor and the south Devon coast for exploring pre or post wedding!

Once You're There

What's included:
Price per person £240 for 2 nights stay (with breakfast provided)

We will then confirm your booking with Kingston

(NB: If you're booking as a larger group with children please get in touch and we can advise. All bookings must be done through us rather than through the venue directly, if you have any special requirements, please do let us know and we will notify the venue on your behalf).

If you're staying at the estate for the wedding weekend, you can check in from 4.30pm on Sunday, and depart by 12pm on Tuesday 27th.

Should you not choose to stay on site we can advise on some alternative local places to stay, however these are likely to book up quickly due to the Bank Holiday weekend.

While you're here

If you're able to stay a little longer in Devon, here are some of our favourite places in the area we hope you get to experience.

The South West Coast Path

The South West coast path is the UK's longest National Trail.

It's a 630 mile trail running along the coast of south west England from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset.

Some favourite stretches that are worth visiting are the walks from Salcombe to South Milton, Bigbury, from Torbay to Teignmouth.

You can't go wrong!

  • Bigbury-on-Sea

Dartmoor

If you want to feel a bit Jane Austen, go for a walk on the moors.

Haytor Rock is a good place for a walk and has beautiful views across the moors and to the sea.

There are many great pubs on the moors, our favourite is the Rugglestone Inn in the village of Widecombe.

Torbay & Thatcher's Rock

Torbay is made up of  3 big towns - many beaches, nightclubs, shops, bars and restaurants.

It's got Kent's Cavern prehistoric caves, a medieval monastery at Torre Abbey, Babbacombe Model Village, Paignton Zoo, an Agatha Christie walking tour - whatever floats your boat..
